Parking terms
Draft for a lawyer. Not legal advice and not yet the contract on a real lot.
A pay-as-you-go session starts when you tap start and the payment is authorized. You are charged per minute at the rate shown when you started. Sessions ended within five minutes are free. Longer sessions are charged from the first minute. The charge is collected when the session ends. Card processors cannot collect less than $0.50, so a session that comes to less than $0.50 is free.
A session ends when you tap End, when the charge reaches the daily maximum of $40, or at midnight Eastern, whichever comes first. If you leave without ending, charges continue until the maximum or midnight. The maximum is per vehicle, per lot, per calendar day.
Every session ends at midnight Eastern, and you are charged for the time up to midnight (never more than $40). If your vehicle is still parked after midnight, you must start a new session. A vehicle without an active session after midnight is unpaid. No card is saved and nothing is charged for the new day unless you start a new session.
We place a temporary authorization and capture only the amount owed. Booked hours are non-refundable, including if you leave early. A booked stay also ends at midnight Eastern; booked hours that would run past midnight end at midnight and are not refunded. There is no separate processing fee.
Parking without an active session, permit, or grace period is a parking violation. The fine is $75, including for a first offense. It is paid at the ticket page using the ticket code and plate written on the ticket. This is a parking fine only; it is not a boot or tow fee.
